"The Anthem" is a freestyle that holds a special place in my heart as it marks the beginning of my journey as a rapper and recording artist. The beat of "Oochie Wally", produced by EZ ELPEE, ignited a spark of inspiriation within me and was so captivating that the words just flowed out of me effortlessly. It was a turning point for me as it made me realize that I had the potential to create something amazing from my personal experiences.
When I embarked on designing the cover art for "The Anthem (Explicit)", I wanted to capture the boldness and vulnerability of the song. I scoured the internet for images that could perfectly embody the essence of the track. With the help of Christopher Zapata's creative genius, we recreated a Grace Jones portrait by Richard Bernstein, using the vibrant color palette of John Key, a prominent fine artist. The color scheme predominantly consisted of reds and purples, creating a striking and visually stunning image. Seeing my vision come to life in the form of the cover art filled me with a sense of pride and accomplishment. From that moment on, I knew that I had the ability to create something remarkable with my talent through the grace of God.
I believe that everyone should have an outlet to express their creativity and reflect on their personal experiences. That is why I have created , The Anthem NoteBook Collection to inspire others to tap into their creative potential and use their unique experiences to create something incredible.
